This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for GenRex.io (https://genrex.io). We aim to be transparent and fair in our policies while complying with applicable consumer protection laws.


1. Free Tier

GenRex.io offers a free tier that allows you to explore the platform and its capabilities before making any purchase. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate whether our services meet your needs before subscribing or purchasing credits.

Free credits provided as part of the free tier or any promotional offer are not eligible for monetary refund under any circumstances.


2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

  • Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have access to your plan features and remaining plan credits until the billing period ends
  • No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current billing period
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier
  • Your generated content remains accessible regardless of your subscription status

3. Plan Credits

Credits included with your subscription plan are allocated at the start of each billing cycle and reset at the beginning of the next cycle. Unused plan credits do not roll over and are not refundable. Plan credits are a component of your subscription and are subject to the subscription cancellation terms described above.


4. Purchased Credits

Credits purchased separately (outside of a subscription plan) are digital goods that are delivered immediately upon purchase.

  • Used credits — Credits that have been consumed for generation requests are non-refundable, as the digital service has been delivered
  • Unused credits — Purchased credits are generally non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, if you have not used any credits from a purchase, you may contact our support team to request a refund. Such requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis and granted solely at our discretion

5. Service Deficiency

If you experience a service deficiency or technical failure that results in credits being consumed without delivering the expected output, you are entitled to remediation:

  • Credit restoration — We will restore credits consumed due to a technical failure on our platform
  • Refund — If credit restoration is not possible or appropriate, we will issue a monetary refund for the affected amount
  • Service deficiency claims must be reported within 30 days of the incident

Please note that AI-generated content quality is inherently variable. Dissatisfaction with the style, tone, or creative direction of generated content does not constitute a service deficiency, as the service (content generation) was delivered as described.


6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • The transaction or payment reference
  • A description of the issue and reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant screenshots or error details (for service deficiency claims)

7. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account
  • You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been initiated

8. Changes to This Policy
